My lady, my love, standing like a stone

My lighthouse, my life guide, through the storm

When I'm in the dark, chilled to the bone

She comes and saves me; she makes me feel warm

I'm the king of your love, will you be queen?

You’ve played your cards right, went straight to my heart

You've seen more in me than I've ever seen

When you're not near me it tears me apart

And there may be others who catch my eye

And sure, there are more fish in the sea

But you are a pearl, beautifully shy

And next to you they're no more than algae

At last, I have found you; a gift from the stars

A shoulder to cry on, a love without pars
